Berkay Öztunç

Hello, I'm Berkay

a software engineer and full-stack developer at Geniousoft. Over the past few years, I’ve specialized in the Solana network, most recently developing "Sparkium" for the Radar Hackathon. My experience spans custom software solutions for companies across diverse industries, as well as expertise in Web3 through projects involving mining rigs, rental systems, smart contracts, and tokens.

Since 2011, I've been passionate about software. During university, I worked in the IT department, helping develop our student information system. My journey continued in Istanbul, where I built over 50 corporate websites, then in e-commerce and mobile development roles, where I delivered two major applications as a core developer. Five years ago, I joined Geniousoft, where I tailor solutions to meet unique client needs and began my deep dive into the blockchain space.

As a Superteam Türkiye member, I’ve been contributing to the Solana ecosystem for nearly 1.5 years, providing mentorship and organizing Solana events in Mersin for the past year. My work in hackathons includes a project on Solana that received special recognition and an EVM-based project on Oasis (Paratime) that won a hackathon and grant.

I'm proficient in Git and skilled in remote collaboration, primarily working on Discord. With a quick adaptability to new languages and tools, I deliver solutions effectively. My English is strong in listening, with good reading and writing skills and intermediate speaking ability.

Born in 1993, I'm married and a proud dog (Sushi) owner.
